Carl joined the Better Business Bureau serving Central and South Alabama as its President and CEO in February of 2020, prior to that he served in various management roles with The Birmingham News and AL.com. His team of 18 serves 50 counties between Gadsden and the Gulf Coast of Alabama. He is a Trussville resident and a member of the Trussville Daybreak Rotary. In 2025 the Better Business Bureau team handled 4,000 consumer complaints and over 2,500 scam reports from both businesses and consumers in our state.
